A high-growth economy like India has helped drive Katti-Ma's meteoric growth as an industry-leading exporter of granite blocks, slabs and monuments. Our multi-state presence here in India comprises of manufacturing units in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, open cast mining in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and a merchant export division based out of our corporate office in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Though our home base is in India, we have rapidly established an international presence that spans the globe - from the United States and Canada in the West to China, Taiwan and Japan in the East. Trained by Japanese experts, Katti-Ma is the only Indian company that maintains the unmatched quality and high standards that buyers usually expect from the Japanese across our product offerings, be it blocks, monuments or slabs.
Growing from our export business, Katti-Ma has also diversified into finished products through key joint venture projects with the Japanese for producing the highest quality stone monuments, established 25 years ago.

Open Cast Mining
K J Granite Quarries (Since 2009)
To help extract and deliver only the best quality stones for our customers, Katti-Ma started K J Granite Quarries in 2009. An open cast mining operation, our quarries are modern and fully mechanised, and produce varieties of granite that are exclusive to Katti-Ma in India including our famous Red Pearl, Costa Dakota, Caledonian Brown, Cladon Blue, Urban Grey, Coffee Brown, Dragon Red, India Jet Black and more.

Katti-Ma works with importers and wholesalers around the world to supply slabs and cut-to-size products to the construction industry in various Eastern markets. Together with our associates, we have completed a plethora of well-acclaimed, prestigious projects in Taiwan and Mainland China. Consistency in quality and supply, and the distinct Katti-Ma advantage and experience, make our granite varieties the most sought after for exteriors, flooring and facades and all other building projects. Kattima's success as an international project supplier has now paved the way for the launch of Kattima Studio, our in-house Architecture firm that focuses on Design, Master Planning, Adaptive Reuse, Facade Renovations and Interior Remodeling.
